Transactions of the Geological Society of London
The Transactions of the Geological Society of London represent the Society’s earliest systematic publication, published from 1811 to 1856. During this period the Transactions featured almost 350 papers, many of which have become classics, but the title was eventually superseded by the Quarterly Journal of the Geological Society. Print sets of the Transactions are now rare and highly prized, but complete online versions captured to the highest electronic standards are here available for the first time. Users should note that plates are presented at the end of the relevant paper, and are not collated as the separate volumes in which many were first published.
